What is your cancellation ​policy?

We kindly request that you provide us with as much notice as possible when cancelling appointments.

Please be aware that failing to show for an appointment will incur a no-show charge of $25. This fee is

allocated directly to the Massage Therapist to compensate for their time, as they do not receive payment

otherwise.

Can I use my gift certificate for a different service other than what it was

purchased for?

You can use your gift certificate for a different service, provided that the value of the certificate

matches the cost of the desired service. If the service is more expensive, you can pay the difference.

What is your return policy?

All gift certificates and products are non-returnable.

Must I be completely undressed?

We encourage guests to dress down to their comfort level and we always prioritize your preferences.

While many techniques are traditionally performed with  the client unclothed, you have the freedom

to choose what you feel most comfortable wearing. Rest  assured, you will be properly draped throughout

the entire session to ensure your privacy and relaxation.

Will I be covered during the session?

You will be appropriately draped at all times to ensure your warmth and comfort. Only the area being

worked on will be exposed, maintaining your privacy and dignity throughout the process.

What will the massage/bodywork feel like?

tension.  A typical session begins with gentle, flowing strokes that promote relaxation, gradually increasing in

pressure to target specific areas of discomfort. We use oil or lotion to ensure a smooth massage while

hydrating your skin. Remember, open communication is key  Let us know if you feel any discomfort, so we can

adjust our approach for your ultimate relaxation.

**Please be aware that some therapists specialize in alternative techniques, offering deeper pressure and

therapeutic massage that focuses on intense muscle work, stretching, and trigger points. These methods can

provide significant relief and enhance overall well-being.

What should I do during the massage or bodywork session?

  Make yourself comfortable, and remember that your practitioner will guide you through the session, whether it’s

adjusting your position or asking for your input on pressure. Many clients find it helpful to close their eyes and relax,

but feel free to communicate any needs or preferences throughout the experience.  If you have any questions regarding

the session or about the particular technique you are receiving, feel free to ask.

Do you accept Insurance?

We do not accept insurance. However, we are pleased to accept

Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flex Spending Accounts (FSA) for your convenience. Thank you for

understanding!

 

 What is the Gift Card Policy?

 Our gift cards are treated like cash and cannot be replaced. They are non-refundable,

non-exchangeable, and not redeemable for cash or check. Unfortunately, we cannot accept or verify

any lost or stolen cards. Please present your gift card at the time of your appointment service, or an

alternative payment methods will be required. Gift cards are redeemable exclusively at Massage Central

in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan.
